Regenerative Democracy for Envisioning and Fostering Flourishing Societies

The main objective of this article is to propose a new concept Regenerative Democracy for envisioning and fostering flourishing societies. In pursuing goal, study structured in three research strands, as follows: (i) the proposition cohesive set indices assessing global democracy its historical crisis, stability, transitioning regimes; (ii) an evaluation empirical correlations interdependencies between sustainability democracy; (iii) respective system dynamics modeling archetype portraying societal transitions their patterns behavior over time. overall results discussion indicate trend democratic instability, comprising decline quality distribution among states increasing risk socio-ecological degeneration. These also reveal highly interdependent relationship achievements essential needs stability consolidation. Finally, societies relies on social equity, political participation, intergenerational justice solidarity, long-term thinking, synergistic relationships Earth’s life-giving systems.
